Anchor Point Media · Production network · Des Moines, Iowa
Local shooters. Real gear. Paid per project.
Anchor Point Media builds websites and makes video and photo content for brands, artists and local businesses. For production, we team up with Des Moines-area crews and independent videographers and photographers who bring their own gear, and pay them a set price for each project.
What APM does
Websites, video and photo, under one roof.
Anchor Point Media is the Des Moines media company behind the Crashout, Baby podcast.
Web builds
Websites for local businesses, from a complete business site to premium builds, SEO and monthly maintenance.
Video & photo production
Content for brands, artists and local businesses: brand stories, promo video, photography, event coverage, podcast content and custom campaigns.
How production works
A network of crews, not one rented camera.
Instead of starting from scratch every job, APM works with production companies and independent shooters who already have their own equipment. Everyone knows the rate before the shoot.
- 1A project comes in. APM scopes it with the client: what's being shot, the date, and what gets delivered.
- 2We match the crew. A production company or independent shooter from the network whose style, gear and schedule fit the job.
- 3Set price, per project. The rate is agreed up front. You bring your own gear, APM handles the client.
- 4Shoot, deliver, repeat. Shooters we keep coming back to can move onto a retainer with APM.
The mission
Work with the people. Give back to them.
Anchor Point Media is built on working with the people, not around them. This network is how APM gives paid work and visibility to Des Moines-area videographers and photographers.
- Up-and-coming shooters: paid jobs, real clients and a chance to get your work seen.
- Seasoned shooters and crews: per-project work that comes to you, at a rate set before the shoot.
We're just getting the network started. Joining doesn't guarantee a booking, but when a project fits your style and gear, you're who we call first.
